This Bible Reading plan is an excellent way to read through the whole Bible, not start-to-finish like some plans, but at multiple points all at once.

In each set of readings youll have something from the Old Testament law, history, prophets, wisdom, and a psalm, along with a chapter from the Gospels, and the New Testament letters. Either read through all 10 chapters in a day, or take longer for each set: youll soon start to see how Gods word is unified and connected in all sorts of ways you may never have noticed before.

There are two plans: Prof. Horners 10-chapter-per-day plan, and a modified version that broadens some of the emphases in the passages covered.

You can use this as a prompt to get out your Bible and start reading, or use the in-app browser to read the ESV text on the go!

Pros and cons of Reading Plan app for iPhone and iPad

Reading Plan app good for

This is a beautiful app, a simple app, and keeps its purpose clearly in mind: helping the user read Scripture. There are no settings. Some may not like the way readings are grayed out and inaccessible after reading (although it can be reset). I love it. What you see in the preview is what you get - no more except a helpful description on the info page. My one request is a night mode - white font on black. But that is a feature request. As is, I think this is absolutely a 5 star app on my iPhone. On wifi only devices, Im not so sure how well it would work - readings are downloaded on demand, so it seems like offline mode wouldnt work. Im not certain on that though.
This app makes a great but challenging Bible Reading Plan quickly accessible and easy to use. I highly recommend it
App works well and keeps me on track even away from my physical bible
I have always wanted to read the entire bible but sitting down to do it has been an issue for me. I also hate the Reading Plans that have you starting in Genesis and reading straight through. This plan is excellent and interesting and the app has the feature where you can hold your finger over a word and get the definition! That is my favorite part, aside from how easy the app is to use! Its free and God is calling so download and get started!

Some bad moments
